Native Nonprofit Day returns on Thursday, May 21, 2026!

Native Nonprofit Day is a giving initiative aimed at increasing support for Native-led organizations nationwide. Organizations, foundations, and individuals are invited to dedicate May to raising awareness of the importance of supporting Native-led nonprofits, culminating in Native Nonprofit Day!

The Native Nonprofit List is a Year Round giving platform!

While our annual Native Nonprofit Day and #GiveNative on Giving Tuesday campaigns highlight the critical work of these organizations at specific times of year, GiveNative.org accepts donations 365 days a year, providing a safe, secure, and convenient way for donors to contribute to the causes they care about most.

The Native Nonprofit List, Native Nonprofit Day, and #GiveNative on Giving Tuesday are presented by Native Ways Federation.

Native Ways Federation was founded in 2008 by national, Native-led organizations with a mission to activate and expand informed giving to Native-led nonprofits in Indian Country through donor education and advocacy. We envision a thriving Native-led nonprofit sector, championing a diverse community rooted in Indigenous values and ways of being.

Native Ways Federation unites Native-led nonprofits; advocates for and with Native-led nonprofits; and influences philanthropy, foundations, and donors to make systemic changes to increase support for the ongoing and impactful work of Native-led nonprofits.
